As the Director, IT Services Delivery - Dealer Services 2, you will collaborate with other leaders to oversee the planning of IT activities, drive innovation, and manage the lifecycle of IT products. Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for IT needs, guiding the adaptation and integration of new technologies and tools that enhance IT service delivery capabilities and align with corporate principles.
- Lead as the go-to person for all IT services within the Dealer Services – Operations and Projects sector, offering guidance and expertise to our internal partners in their selection and implementation of cutting-edge IT solutions, from software acquisition to seamless integration of cloud computing solutions.
- Direct the delivery of IT services and solutions, precisely tailored to meet the unique business needs of the sector, ensuring alignment with the Information Technology vice-presidency's objectives and the highest quality standards, all while adhering to established deadlines and budgets.
- Drive the implementation of transformative corporate initiatives within the business sector, collaborating closely with stakeholders and diverse IT delivery sectors, and spearhead the essential technical enablers required to propel the sector’s growth and transformation.
- Ensure peak performance and compliance of solution delivery teams under your leadership, while also boosting operational efficiency by deploying innovative methods and practices such as DevOps and cloud technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards and processes within our dynamic work environment.
- Develop and maintain proactive communication channels with business sector managers, fostering the evolution and continuity of IT services. Additionally, plays a pivotal role in executing strategic plans to modernize the ecosystem, in collaboration with partners and multiple suppliers.
- Recruit, mentor, and mobilize talent to meet the demand for information technologies, while also contributing to the professional development of our employees and establishing innovative strategies to optimize production and development support processes in collaboration with various teams.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant discipline at the same level.
- 10 years of relevant experience in IT project delivery and managing project teams.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and drive continuous improvement of multiple IT service delivery teams, working on medium-size projects, within an agile environment.
- Expertise in business case preparation, budgeting, and investment mechanisms for IT initiatives.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align IT service delivery strategies with organizational goals.
- Broad understanding of software development, DevSecOps, agility, and Lean methodologies.
- Implementation and utilization of AI tools and systems for service delivery processes.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector and experience in a matrix management environment.
- Experience in organizational transformation and managing conflicting priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and drive alignment with business objectives.
- Advanced level of English as the person will be required to conduct one-on-one meetings with his/her team in English, supervise an English-speaking team based in Toronto and Vancouver, work with unilingual English-speaking suppliers in the form of calls and emails, and communicate with unilingual English-speaking business sectors on a daily basis.
