Description

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Manager is accountable for overseeing all sales activities within the Eastern Ontario territory, as well as ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to iA Dealer Services customers. The Sales Manager also fosters team motivation and engagement to drive performance.

Your day-to-day

Sales management

  • Effectively manages sales activities in assigned territory.
  • Ensure effective management of relations with retailers.
  • Ensure effective monitoring of the iADS service offering.
  • Intervene with retailers when necessary.
  • Maintain constant communication with the Regional Sales Manager
  • Conduct team meetings to communicate all relevant information (good moves, updates, changes, follow-up of administrative tasks, etc.), while ensuring that team spirit is fostered.
  • Work in collaboration with the training department (identify needs and plan interventions).

Compliance

  • Ensure risk management and compliance with laws and regulations governing the processes for which he/she is responsible, including ensuring that controls are in place, adhered to, executed and effective.

Human Resources Management

  • Supervise and support team members.
  • Participate in the selection of team members through hiring or internal promotion interviews, in collaboration with the Director of Recruitment.
  • Ensure the welcome and integration of new team members.
  • Identify the development needs of each individual and the means to meet them.
  • Refer, when required, to iA's human resources to make informed decisions and act in compliance with corporate and labour standards.

Internal Administration

  • Request various reports from consultants or performance coordinators when required.
  • Work as a team with all iA Dealer Services stakeholders to provide outstanding service to all customers.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and maintain a corporate image in line with the company's code of ethics.

Is this you?

  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
  • 5+ years of automotive finance and insurance experience.
  • Excellent communication, training, coaching and relationship building skills.
  • Business acumen and results orientation.
  • Rigor in identifying the right opportunities and in following up on files.
