Advisor Solutions Manager

In this role, you will deliver both proactive and reactive sales support to our selected advisors.  You will form a key part of a national team that has a goal to provide the right service to the right Advisor, at the right time.  When appropriate, you will refer complex cases to your local teams so that business may be facilitated by our local Business Development Team and advanced sales team members.  In this role you will also elevate our Unassigned Policy Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong working relationships and advocacy with all regions and team members

  • Bring a positive mindset to our team and be ready to drive productivity with our advisors

  • Triage incoming reactive requests and ensure timely response times

  • Build Advisor ability to independently access PPI’s tools

  • Support Inforce Illustrations when appropriate

  • Support casework and quoting for the region when appropriate

  • Maintain a high degree of industry and product knowledge, understanding the marketplace and remaining current on industry trends and initiatives

  • Align various internal and external resources to enable Advisor sales growth, when appropriate

  • Collaborate with other Advisor Solutions Managers across the country to leverage strengths and provide a seamless support experience for the Advisor

  • Engage in actions that encourage, reflect and align with PPI’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments to our Advisors, their clients and our employees

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • 5 years financial services industry experience in a sales or sales support role

  • College Diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience

  • Current life license or working toward

  • LOMA courses, CHS, CLU, CFP, CFA, CSC, SWIM considered an asset

  • Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written due to frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues, internal partners and clients across Canada

  • Demonstrated time management skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage

  • Strong communication skills in virtual environments

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships in multiple regions

  • The ability to leverage our team to bring the right people/partners to the table to deliver on Advisor needs

  • Understanding of the regulatory environment within: IIROC, MFDA, CU and PM firms as well as various provincial insurance regulators considered and asset

  • Ability to adhere to compliance legislation and guidelines

  • Knowledge of financial services industry

  • Aptitude for and a willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies

  • Ability to manage emotion and impulses to absorb constructive feedback while remaining level-headed

  • Ability to manage various personalities and situations

  • Ability to track and work efficiently while being a team player to drive results for all of PPI
