Are you known for your service mentality, your team spirit and your leadership? Are you a good listener with good business vision and strong interpersonal skills? The position of Senior Advisor, Service Strategy, Group Benefits and Retirement Solutions at iA Financial Group may be for you.

This is a strategic transversal role on the team that serves Group Insurance and Group Savings and Retirement clients across Canada. The goal is to foster teamwork and develop a consistent and aligned approach across all service teams in the country. The person will work closely with the Senior Director, as future mandates are at the heart of the team's mission: client experience, retention and growth.

This role is grouped into six main areas:

1- Coordinate the development and implementation of harmonized monitoring processes for our block of business.

2- Build and implement, in collaboration with team members, a value-added service strategy for Group Insurance and Group Savings and Retirement clients.

3- Take charge of and review the client satisfaction monitoring process.

4- Actively participate in the evolution of service standards by ensuring consistency between different products and regions.

5- Lead special projects (e.g. changes to our fund offering).

6- Ensure a global understanding and follow-up of operational risks and business continuity measures for the service teams.

As part of the strategic role, the person will participate in the organization's and sector's management meetings to develop an understanding of iA's vision, and thus ensure the alignment of the projects they work on. The person will have to be familiar with the competition's service offering and the clients’ needs to develop a distinctive value-added offering.

Ideal candidate

  • University degree (BAC) in a relevant field (Actuarial, Administration, Communication, Marketing, Finance, etc.)

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in B2B services or employee benefits

  • Knowledge of employee benefits products and services

  • Excellent knowledge of the market and the competition

  • Very high level of autonomy

  • Ability to bring people together at the Director level for a common project

  • Ability to manage multi-team/multi-department projects

  • Frequent travel and non-regular work hours

  • Must be focused and extremely results oriented
