You will work on application projects related to iA Dealer Services in Agile and SAFe methodology
About iA Dealer Services:
- Line of business that sells aftermarket products via dealerships to end customers
- We have a few in house applications that we maintain
- iA Dealer Services is Canada’s most comprehensive provider of aftermarket protection products and F&I training services.
Understand, analyze, document and support partners/users in clarifying their needs.
·Perform complete, fully documented and substantiated analyses that are based on solid evidence.
·Formulate professional opinions and make pragmatic recommendations in compliance with established standards, rules and guidelines.
Examine data and reports to identify underlying trends, major gaps and root causes of a various issues.
·Actively contribute to solving operational problems and proposing solutions to improve processes and methods.
·Carry out duties and achieve the deliverables under personal responsibilities in collaboration with other stakeholders in the field or workgroup.
·Support partners/users throughout the delivery process while guaranteeing the quality of the service provided.
·Actively participate in all of the team’s activities (ceremony preparation, definition of done, etc.).
Assist in defining the functions, services or technical elements required.
Assist in designing the solution in collaboration with the team while maintaining the “just enough – just in time” mentality using the best practices supported by the centres of excellence.
Participate in the development and application of functional rules, technical specifications, and solution design and delivery standards.
Actively contribute, with other experts in the sector, to the implementation of solutions and the execution of the following activities (examples): proof of concept and prototyping, various validations, workload assessment, testing strategies, testing, operations and user documentation, training and knowledge articles, etc.
Assist with or carry out testing at various levels of detail, both functional and technical, and support partners in this area.
Actively contribute to the maintenance of the documentation necessary for the sustainability of designed or current elements and to the IT asset development plans under the team’s responsibility.
Assist in monitoring, developing and supporting applications, systems and practices in the sector or field of expertise.
As needed, perform certain technical, development, configuration or quality assurance activities when required by the context.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, administration or other relevant training of a similar level and 7 five years of experience in a similar role.
·Knowledge of Lean/Agile principles and ability to apply them in a teamwork context.
Strong analytical, processing, coordination and collaboration skills.
Good communication, writing and lay explanation skills
Ability to maintain healthy work relationships with stakeholders in various sectors and at various hierarchical levels.
Appreciation and promotion of internal partner/user contact.
Curiosity, autonomy, discipline and analytical thinking.
Desire to continue to learn.
French would be an asset
Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry is an asset.
