Summer Intern - Corporate Communications

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Director, Communications, the Communications coordinator will support communications for iA Wealth and its key business units.  

Responsibilities 

• Support the larger Communications team by helping to contribute to our weekly advisor newsletter;

• Draft and/or edit existing communications to employees and advisors;

• Assist with event planning and production of both internal and marquis advisor events;  

• Work collaboratively with the larger marketing team on key communications and creative; 

• Abide by professional editorial standards for clear and effective communications. 

Knowledge, experience, skills and expertise 

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in either communications, marketing, journalism or related field;

• Advanced proficiency in English– speaking, reading and writing;

• Expert interpersonal skills; 

• Exceptional eye for detail; 

• Proactive and highly organized, with excellent time management capabilities; 

• Decisive, with effective problem-solving skills; 

• Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure; 

• Ability to work in a team environment; 

• Willingness to learn; 

• Confidence to new share ideas to help us learn!
