Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technicians to document installation, operation, and support guides.

• Draft, execute, and/or coordinate tests to achieve expected results.

• Organize and conduct proof of concepts and production deployments according to operational standards.

• Define action plans and tasks to be carried out as part of your assignments.

• Ensure the quality of work performed by less experienced colleagues.

• Integrate into or support the support team to ensure network service availability.

• Be available outside office hours to provide on-call support in emergencies.

• Assist working groups in resolving major incidents and issues.

• Perform technical activities such as deployment, configuration, or quality assurance when needed.

• Participate in the monitoring, maintenance, and support of network management systems.

• Analyze and model the operational processes of the network team.

• Identify areas for improvement in work methods, particularly around standardization and automation.

Requirements:

• DEC or Bachelor's degree in computer science with at least 5 years of experience in corporate IT network management.

• Ability to work in a project-oriented and Agile environment.

• Experience in integrating and resolving system incidents in Akamai CDN systems.

• Experience with overall cloud computing concepts and solutions: SaaS, PaaS, IaaS.

• Experience deploying Azure and AWS infrastructures.

• Specifically, strong knowledge of several of the following technologies:

  • Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform)

  • Akamai: CDN, DNS, and WAAP

  • F5 NGINX: Application routing (an asset)

• Proficiency in both spoken and written French, as communication and documentation in French will be an essential part of the role.

• Intermediate English proficiency, both oral and written, as 25-30% of daily tasks involve English, including understanding and drafting documentation, and participating in videoconference meetings with internal English-speaking partners.

• Familiarity with technological analysis documentation and technological architecture documentation.

Assets:

• Experience with solution deployment via Azure DevOps.

• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform.

• Akamai Certification.

• ITIL knowledge.
