iA Financial Group is looking for an Administrator. Reporting to the Manager, Administration, Group Savings and Retirement, the Administrator is responsible for analyzing and processing various transaction requests from our clients (members, plan sponsors, advisors, consultants) and internal partners. These requests are diverse and concern all events occurring during the life of a collective savings account (e.g., RRSP, RPD, TFSA, non-registered plans, LIF, LRIF, annuities, RPA, and RPS).
The Administrator is responsible for various transactions related to the administration of the plan, from account creation to its closure. Account administration must comply with the plan's provisions, eligibility criteria, as well as applicable federal and provincial laws.
Under regular supervision, tasks and responsibilities include:
- Processing transactions received from clients and using systems and tools in place ;
- Verbal and written communications with clients and internal partners ;
- Maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy ;
- Respecting financial deadlines as well as compliance with policies, rules and legislations
- Verifying transactions of colleagues ;
- Providing a high level of customer service (requests received and required follow ups) ;
- Analyzing simple requests and escalating theses to the specialist if needed ;
- Preparing various reports and taxation slips for clients and authorities ;
- Participating in DMS (Daily Management System) ;
- Identifying problems, mudas and proposing viable solutions to improvement ideas through the different LEAN tools ;
- Contributing toward building and maintaining a positive environment where all team members can learn, share knowledge and collaborate.
Requirements :
- College degree (DEC) in financial services, administration, or a related field;
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience;
- Intermediate knowledge of the French and English language as the individual will need to read and complete complex documents, frequently interact with colleagues during team meetings, and communicate by phone and email with French and English-speaking clients across Canada on a daily basis;
- Knowledge of various collective savings and retirement products and applicable legislation (an asset);
- Ability to learn quickly;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Positive attitude and team spirit.
