Home insurance: the impact of work from home, school at home and renovations

Here’s what you need to take into consideration to make sure your home insurance is providing the coverage you need when changes arise.

Are you working from home?

More and more of us are working from home these days. Did you know that equipment provided by your employer is usually covered by your employer?

If you’ve made major improvements to your home, make sure that the rebuilding cost indicated in your policy is adequate. For example, if you renovated your kitchen with better-quality materials, this can result in an increase in your rebuilding cost.
