Do you enjoy connecting with people and you have a strong interest for investment products and services? As a Director of Sales, Investments you will build effective business relationships with the Independent Financial Advisors from the MGA channel with a particular focus on the Asian market. More precisely, you will be responsible of sales development activities in BC to increase our market share, such as:
- Being the advisor of the advisors;
- Delivering training to independent advisors on iA segregated funds products, GICs, HISA, sales concepts and software. Training can be delivered in person or on Webinars;
- Building new relationships and developing current ones to their full potential;
- Responsible of developing and implementing a Marketing Plan for the region to achieve the growth objectives;
- Using your in-depth knowledge of our products and the investment industry in general along with your interpersonal skills to increase sales and retain assets;
- Creating and revising presentations using Power Point software;
- Responding to inquiries through telephone, email, written correspondence, or in person, in a timely and professional manner;
- Attendance at planned conferences, road shows, presentations, and organized events for supporters during day and evening, as required.
Your career path looks like this:
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with an insurance or mutual firm, or in a bank;
- CSC, CIM or other professional designation is an asset, along with excellent knowledge of segregated funds and investments industry;
- Fluent in Mandarin;
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of advisors;
- Ability to influence and motivate our business partners;
- Excellent organization and planning skills with a strong ability to meet tight deadlines;
- Ability to delegate effectively;
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

The typical hiring range for this position is 100 185 to 162 000 CAD per year; The base salary offered may vary depending on the knowledge, skills, years of experience and internal equity related to the position.
