iA Financial Group is seeking a Data Analyst to work in a high-performance environment for the Global Project Management Office (GPMO). You will work on various business intelligence, data science, and machine learning projects using cutting-edge technologies.
Specifically, you will be involved in implementing and evolving innovative corporate project data management solutions. Key responsibilities include monitoring organizational data solution requirements, understanding business needs related to solutions you will support, coordinating formalization, and implementing business rules based on company needs.
Responsibilities
Participate in data modeling, including object relationships and calculation logic based on business rules
Explore new paths in datasets and test hypotheses
Create new data models
Implement requirements for predictive analysis
Work closely with business relationship specialists to understand business context and processes
Be proactive in observing and understanding environment with customer-oriented attitude
Coordinate implementation and maintenance of corporate data processing business rules
Lead data cleaning, transformation, conversion, and correction efforts
Participate in reviews and design sessions
Manage IT team communications for problem resolution and version changes
Work closely with technical implementation team
Produce well-documented analyses supported by evidence
Propose detailed solutions and recommendations
Help partners and IT teams clarify operational needs and support data analysis validation
Required Profile
University degree in Administration, Computer Science, or relevant field
5 years relevant data analysis experience
Rigorous and objective in analytical work
Autonomous, reliable, and proactive
Excellent problem identification and resolution skills
Strong communicator, effective team player
Excellent french language skills (oral and written)
Advanced level of English, as the person will be required to communicate in the form of calls and e-mails with unilingual English-speaking collaborators, suppliers and customers based in the USA and Canada, and to read and edit documentation in English, on a weekly basis.
Expertise in analytics, data management, integration, modeling techniques (Datavault+ Star Schemas), machine learning, data science
Experience in data analysis for business intelligence projects
Additional Desired Skills
Experience with database technologies (SQL Server On-Prem/Cloud, NoSQL, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI)
Script development and dashboard creation for data quality control
Knowledge of SQL and Python
Experience in ETL/ELT development and business intelligence tools
