Are you committed to providing excellent service to your internal colleagues, known for your problem-solving skills, and able to synthesize and simplify information with ease? Join the Systems Piloting team for the Insurance, Savings, and Individual Annuities sector as a Systems Piloting Student to play a key role that combines IT expertise with an understanding of business sector needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide support to internal colleagues, external partners, and IT collaborators in the individual annuities/insurance sector;
- Address user inquiries and handle requests related to system anomalies in the business line;
- Analyze encountered issues, determine causes, and, if necessary, escalate problems to iA's IT services or our external suppliers;
- Diagnose user impact, present necessary corrections to the IT sector, and conduct required tests if needed;
- Monitor and communicate the progress of solutions and coordinate with internal colleagues to validate results;
- Participate in non-regression testing on systems during production releases and collaborate with IT teams in developing and executing tests on new initiatives if required;
- Handle various requests, such as "I have a problem" or "I would like to validate," to resolve issues or needs addressed by the business sector;
- Provide nationwide coverage of individual annuities/insurance systems;
- Actively participate in continuous process improvement and the creation/modification of procedures.
Desired Profile:
- Be a student in a DEC or Bachelor's program in Administration, Information Systems and Technology (IST), Computer Science, or equivalent;
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a professional environment;
- Excellent French language skills, both oral and written;
- Intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role involves analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving issues with English-speaking external partners and business teams across Canada on a weekly basis;
- Strong knowledge of the Office suite and other office applications (Office Suite, hardware, and operating systems such as Windows 7);
- Be autonomous, proactive, client-oriented, a good team player, and able to manage stress effectively;
- Customer service experience (an asset).
