This is a remote, temporary (6-month contract) position within Canada. The role requires overtime and work during the holiday season.

The Business Processing Administrator is responsible for placing Trades/ entering KYCs and ensuring that processing deadlines are met with accuracy and efficiency.

Your Day to Day

  • Responsible for ensuring the proper and timely placement of electronic transactions/trades (redemptions/switches/purchases) and ensuring that daily deadlines are met
  • Processing of non-financial requests
  • Data Entry – Set up clients and KYC information using our back-office system (Winfund) timely and accurately. 
  • Prepping daily transaction documents
  • Work closely with our Client Services Team and the dealer’s H/O side
  • Communicating with various fund companies as required
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Have

  • Strong emphasis on accuracy of data entry of trades and client’s set up
  • 3-5 years experience in the mutual fund industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of the English language due to daily calls and written correspondence with English speaking clients.
  • Knowledge of Mutual Funds Operations/Administration - such as business processing, settlement of trades, trust accounting, various plan types (RSP, TFSA, etc.) required
  • Energetic and positive work ethic.
  • Knowledge of Winfund, Synergize and Fundserv an asset.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills are a definite requirement.
  • Able to work well within a close team environment.
  • OT is required during peak season (RSP season).
