Main responsibilities:

- Act as a facilitator to help grow the team

- Create conditions that are conducive to a high-performance team which focuses on priority business needs

- Make sure the scrum, kanban or scrumban framework is applied and support the team in the process to help it become autonomous and self-organized while respecting the guidelines of mandates given to it

- Support the product owner in prioritizing and maintaining the product backlog, and facilitate planning meetings, daily scrums, post mortems and progress reviews

- Ensure that the product owner and production team understand and correctly carry out their roles

- Eliminate obstacles and ensure close collaboration among the various stakeholders

- Make sure the production team is functional, productive and continually improves productivity

- Assess risks and the actions plans to put in place

- Guarantee the implementation of action plans defined during post mortems following the risk assessment

- Shield the team from all outside interference

- Submit reporting adapted to the situation (just enough, at the right time)

- Take an active part in the quarterly budget review process

- Help develop the overall planning process for the sector’s work and allocate budgets

- Make sure resources (human and budget) are adequately allocated in accordance with the guidelines, the roadmap and the priorities (capacity management)

- Identify needs in terms of resources (human, financial, material) and, upon request, help recruit competencies lacking on the team

- Plan and lead committees based on established governance to provide visibility regarding project progress (scope, deadlines, budgets, decisions) and obtain the support required from partners and managers concerned by the project


-Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant university-level training

- Five to ten years of experience in project management (particularly in business project management), including a minimum of three years in an Agile environment

- Solid experience in the application of Agile principles in a scrum, kanban or scrumban work environment (ceremonies, artefacts, etc.)

- Experience in project management involving multiple stakeholders from multiple departments or organizations

- Experience managing budgets and business line capacities

- Experience leading meetings and making presentations at the executive level

- Concrete experience with Agile AND traditional reporting methods

- Solid experience in the application of best practices (e.g. recognized standard) in project management

- Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and French

- Knowledge and understanding of the LEAN philosophy


- Great sense of self-organization and good judgment in evaluating the level of urgency

- Proactivity, energy and speed of action in the face of changing priorities (ability to anticipate and adapt)

- Analytical skills and ability to popularize concepts

- Strong relationship, influence and mobilization skills

- Leadership to reinforce the team and help draw out team members’ skills in collaboration mode

- Sense of partnership, and political cultural sensitivity


- PMP certification

- Scrum master certification

- BI project or data warehouse management

- Knowledge of the financial industry

- Knowledge of the SAFe methodology
