As a Procurement Technician, you will support the Center of Excellence and Vendor Management Office team, as well as the larger procurement team in various administrative tasks.
More specifically, you will support the team in:
Carrying out operational activities related to procurement and vendor management processes
Supports the vendor management office team in carrying out administrative activities required for proper vendor and agreement management (creation and updating of contract information in Oracle, operationalization of master agreements, etc.)
Is responsible for maintaining, accessing, producing, and quality control of information related to various vendor files and data (Renewal, contracts/vendors, deviation, financial gains, etc.)
Ensures follow-up, updating, and recording of vendor deliverables and contractual obligations with the team and partners in Oracle's procurement module
Monitors indicators, produces reports, and makes information available to the team
Manages and processes various administrative requests and questions from partners, requesters, and vendors related to procurement directive and agreement management
Occasionally supports the procurement team in their administrative tasks
Taking charge and carrying out activities related to processes, systems, or SharePoint Portal:
Acts as backup system pilot (Oracle, SharePoint, Portal)
Supports users with simple questions related to procurement software usage
Produces training documentation related to procedures or navigation in the procurement system
Manages and integrates minor changes required to SharePoint and various portals and works in collaboration with the analyst for major changes
Works in concert with management and team to keep the portal active (writes content, integrates dynamic information (news, performance indicators, project evolution))
Supports the team in continuous improvement projects and initiatives (creating task aids, executing tests, user training, etc.)
Required Profile:
Degree in administration or related field (e.g., procurement)
Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing
Knowledge of Oracle Procurement Module or similar procurement software (Important asset)
Rigor and quality focus
High proficiency with computer tools, mainly Excel
Strong learning ability
Good knowledge of English and French languages, both oral and written
Very good sense of organization and priorities to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong customer service aptitude
Judgment, resourcefulness, and sense of initiative
