Global Compensation/Permanent/Telework

Reporting to the Senior Director, Compensation and HR Intelligence, the Global Compensation Advisor participates in the design, development and management of compensation programs for the company in collaboration with their colleagues. Is this challenge for you?

You will contribute to the Compensation team’s mission by conducting comprehensive market analyses to study compensation trends and initiatives within the industry and assist partners and managers in making sound and strategic compensation decisions.

Your challenges

  • Conduct job assessments to provide compensation recommendations and advice regarding new hires and appointments as well as other issues and files
  • Perform a variety of compensation-related analyses to support effective decision making and provide interpretations, results and trends
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of compensation policies and procedures and in communications related to the administration of programs that enhance the value proposition to employees
  • Support various functions and business lines and provide support to internal partners on compensation issues for Canada
  • Participate in market research, compensation benchmarking, surveys and annual salary reviews
  • Advise and influence senior management in the design of plans contributing to employee experience
  • Organize and actively participate in various communications for employees related to compensation programs (including facilitating workshops or presentations for employees or business partners)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, mathematics or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in compensation
  • Knowledge of the different aspects of global compensation
  • Excellent command of French and English (oral and written) for frequent interaction with internal and external French- and English-speaking colleagues or partners across Canada 
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of Workday (asset)
