What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Transaction Technician to join the Elite and Advanced Cases, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Bring your expertise to administrative tasks while processing various requests for complex transactions of individual contracts in compliance with the policies and procedures in effect;

  • Use your meticulous mind by codifying information in computer systems (issues, deposits, changes, surrenders, etc.), while ensuring compliance of documentation related to the transactions;

  • Leverage your expertise and precision in processing transactions for exclusive services;

  • Process complex and varied requests in large numbers and within established timelines in an individual savings and retirement environment where products evolve rapidly, and tax laws are frequently updated;

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the processes and procedures in place;

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is known for their medium or high complexity knowledge of one or more processes in the individual savings and retirement administration;

  • Stands out for their strong judgment, autonomy, and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrates judgment, autonomy and attention to detail as well as excellent priority management skills

  • Is recognized for their good ability to work under pressure;

  • Has 2-5 years of experience in the banking of finance domain.

  • You have intermediate level of English/French, as the person will be required to collect written information via a platform for requests from unilingual English/French-speaking advisors on a daily basis.

The typical salary range for this position is between CA$49,000 and CA$58,000 per year; the base salary offered depends on the location and may vary based on skills, job-related knowledge, experience, and internal equity. All permanent iA employees are also eligible for an annual bonus.
