Description

Mode : Remote/ Domain : Administration Customer service / French and English / Start : As soon as possible 

Reporting to the Estates Team Leader, the candidate will be responsible for the complete estate settlement process for self-directed accounts. They will also be the point of contact for advisors to answer questions requiring tax or legal support, and to efficiently resolve issues submitted.

In this position, you will:

  • Verify documents submitted by liquidators/beneficiaries for estate processing and follow up missing documents with the advisor.
  • Work closely with the legal and tax departments to provide complete answers and compliant files.
  • Respond to sales representatives' questions by e-mail or telephone.
  • Ensure complete processing of estate files.
  • Handle customer/advisor complaints
  • Follow up on unresolved issues on a daily basis.
  • Inform coordinator of significant problem files
  • Attend DMS and ensure that errors are reported and visible.

Qualifications and skills:

  • DEC in financial services, administration or related discipline
  • Very good knowledge of financial products and services
  • Advanced level of English language skills, both oral and written, as the individual will be required to handle a variety of transactions, estate documentation, legal paperwork and due to frequent interaction with English and French-speaking financial advisors and colleagues by phone and email on a daily basis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of estate processing, taxation or law is a major asset.
  • Focus on customer service and ensuring a positive advisor and client experience.
  • Ability to manage difficult conversations with advisor teams to ensure firm policies are adhered to.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize work based on importance or deadlines.
