Imaging & Support Technician

This is a primarily remote position based in Toronto or Quebec City, with the possibility of working in the office as needed. The role is temporary, with a 6-month contract and expected overtime in the evenings and weekends. Additionally, support during holiday periods is also required.

Your Day to Day

• Manage the incoming and outgoing mail at the Head Office, including scanning, distributing, and ensuring timely processing.
• Handle the scanning and depositing of received cheques in collaboration with the Transactions Team.
• Accurately enter client information into the document management software.
• Ensure all processing deadlines are met.
• Keep track of all documents received and sent from the Head Office.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill their document and material needs.
• Provide support to other teams and perform related tasks.

What You Have

• 1 to 2 years of office experience.
• Advanced knowledge of English and French due to reviewing and processing correspondence in English and French daily. 
• Knowledge of Mutual Funds Operations/Administration, including business processing, settlement of trades, and trust accounting.
• Previous experience working for a mutual fund dealer head office, fund company, or branch office
• Completion of IFIC Operations course is an asset.
• Positive and energetic work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Effective team player.
• Flexibility to work within a close-knit team environment.
• Proficient touch-typing skills.
• Availability for vacation blackouts from January to April and mandatory overtime during peak periods may be required.
