As a Transaction Technician in our Individual Insurance division, you will work under the supervision of a team leader to process any policy changes as per agent/client requests and correspond with advisors and internal partners on urgent cases.

 

This role would be for a one year contract with a strong possibility for extension.

 

What will I be doing in this role:  

  • Processing policy changes as per agent/ client requests.

  • Corresponding on Business tracker with advisor.

  • Corresponding on urgent cases with internal partners.

  • Handling such tasks as bank rejects, premium billing transactions and applying premium cheques to client’s respective policies.


What are we looking for:  

  • General college degree/diploma is required.

  • 2-3 years of relevant industry experience will be preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of the French and English language, as you will be expected to handle daily requests from both French-speaking and English-speaking clients that come into the team's email inbox. These requests primarily concern processing policy changes and tasks related to banking operations and billing. Additionally, you will collaborate in both French and English, both orally and in writing, multiple times per day with other team members who are monolingual French speakers.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Keen attention to detail and high accuracy in order to process insurance documents.

  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook

 

What would be an asset but not required:

  • Experience of working in an Insurance Administration division or an MGA

  • Knowledge of life insurance

 

Compensation

 

The typical hiring range for this position is from $50,000 and $55,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on skills, job-related knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
