Reporting to the Director, Practice Management and Training, and based on the overall requirements of Investia and the priorities, you will build and maintain relationships with advisors in your region. You will facilitate Branch Meetings, individual meetings, and workshops with Advisors and their teams to provide training and encourage the adoption of the Investia products/concepts/tools into their business practice. You will aid in the implementation of business processes through practice management strategies and provide insight into how to incorporate the various Investia Tools into their practice. You will also work toward creating growth opportunities, simplifying advisors’ business practice and enhancing the efficiency in the services that they provide to their clients.

KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Support of Sales and Practice Management: - Identify representatives and Branches needs by pro-actively interacting with them regularly based on segmentation of advisors of his/her region;
  • Personalize the Investia platforms and tools offer to advisors including; - Build supporting material (PPT, notes, agenda, etc.) to better structure meetings and increase the learning and retention of information provided;
  • Participate in live presentations virtually or in person for Conferences and Dealer Events;
  • Partner with Vice President and Director to create pieces of large training program;
  • Maintaining a sales support to iA dedicated advisors of his/her region;
  • Provide Practice Management coaching to help Advisors and their teams develop processes and incorporate our tools to increase efficiencies;
  • Encourage and support advisors for their Succession plan in partnership with the RVP;
  • Participate in the update of company tools when needed;
  • Provide regular operations, sales and compliance related online training (conference calls) to branch administrative staff in collaboration with their supervisor and team;
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of company processes, tools, Policies and procedures;
  • When required, assist Advisors and Branches with the implementation of findings of audits;
  • Collaborate with VP Sales of iA Clarington in respective region;
  • Collaborate with dedicated BM/CBM who are assigned to Advisors in respective region;
  • Work closely with other Practice Management Specialists across the country to share and support experiences, new findings, and general team building.
  • Encourage products, concepts, and tools in link with the company’s objectives and initiatives to grow the overall assets under management.
  • Identify advisors’ growth opportunities;
  • Contact and meet with identified Branches, Groups or Individual Representatives;
  • Encourage changes and/or improvements to Advisors businesses to enhance their processes and support them in continuous improvement and evolution within the everchanging environment;
  • Provide support and training to administrative assistants when needed;
  • Liaise with Head Office Managers or staff to efficiently, and effectively, manage escalation of issues from Advisors or Branches to ensure resolution of issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • In charge of projects related to the arrival and transition of new groups or individual representatives within his/her region.

The candidate’s primary responsibilities will include:

  • When needed, assist Regional Vice President in the recruitment of new group or individual advisors by facilitating presentation and answering questions on Operation Processes, Systems, etc.
  • Attend welcome meetings;
  • Provide training on Univeris, Tools and Procedures to groups;
  • In collaboration with Transition Team, ensure continuity of support to Representatives/Branches placed under his/her care until advisors/branch fits within the Investia business model;
  • You will work in a fast-paced environment where products and services are fast evolving and where you need to keep up to date on changes or new initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4-5 years of relevant experience. Very good knowledge of financial products and services;
  • Very good knowledge of insurance sector;
  • Very good knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements;
  • Canadian Investment Funds Course (IFIC) is an asset;
  • Canadian Investment Funds Operations Course is an asset;
  • Leadership, Self Confidence, Initiative, Autonomy, Team Player;
  • Strong professional oral and written communication skills (including presentation and facilitation skills);
  • Strong interpersonal relationship, diplomatic and negotiation skills;
  • Exercise sound judgment and adaptability depending on the stakeholder;
  • Ability to be client-centric and targeted towards service excellence;
  • Ability to set priorities and work under pressure;
  • Client-oriented, patient, thorough and professional;
  • Exemplar Organization skills;
  • Availability for extensive travelling (potential to be approx. 50% of the time);
  • Excellent language skills in French and English, both oral and written, for frequent interactions with English- and French-speaking colleagues and internal/external partners across Canada.
