Insurance - Sales Team / remote work / permanent, full time / Québec, Montreal

The Administrative Assistant Marketing and Sales will play a key role in assisting iA’s Individual Sales and Team by supporting sales activities and liaising with administrative departments.

More specifically, your duties will be:

  • Coordinate information requests and follow-up for files sent to the sales team, by phone or email, with the various departments involved. Respond directly to advisors;

  • Managing and answering advisor calls/emails from our Sales line and email;

  • Create and update Marketing Documents;

  • Assist in preparing letters, Sales materials, email marketing blasts and digital Sales campaigns;

  • Act as a key point of contact for our advisors to liaise between head office/service centres;

  • Managing our Team Social Media Calendars;

  • Prepare expense reports and invoices, follow up on payments;

  • Arrange, schedule and coordinate meetings & events. Attend in person some meetings to serve as onsite coordinator, note taker, or technical resource;

  • Control and order Sales materials as well as promotional items;

  • Provide occasional Training on our Software and Application Tools;

  • Admin Tasks for special events, such as Holiday Card design and distribution.


  • College diploma or 3 years of experience in related field

  • Excellent oral and written language skills due to frequent interaction with English and French speaking colleagues and clients across Canada

  • 2 years working experience in the insurance industry, an asset

  • Public speaking skills (in person/virtual)

  • Intermediate computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Some experience in email/digital marketing design, an asset

  • Working knowledge of Insurance illustration software, an asset
