Join a dynamic National Team working in educating members within the Group Benefits and Group Savings and Retirement space.
The Financial Education Specialist, under the direction of the Manager of the Education and Communications Team, will provide members with a range of activities that create an engaging education experience, that is focused on helping members deepen their learning while providing them with the support they need to achieve their personal goals, improve their health and well-being.
The Financial Education Specialist will also be responsible for providing member education sessions for our existing and new clients and will also be asked to represent iA Financial Group to potential clients during the shortlist process.
The Financial Education role includes but is not limited to the following:
Deliver education onsite sessions / training events using all mediums including in-class, e-learning, and virtual facilitation
Develop and help implement education strategies
Collaborate with colleagues and internal stakeholders to design and implement learning solutions & reinforcement tools that align business needs with education sessions
Solid written and oral communication skills, including superior presentation and facilitation skills
Participate and be a contributing team member in the development of new education features and tools
Participate in finalist presentations
Extensive travel required in Ontario.
A dynamic self-starter who is comfortable working both independently as a part of a team
Strong organization, time management, and planning skills
Strong presentation skills, communication, and persuasion skills
University Degree or equivalent is an asset in a related field of study
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite / applications
Experience with designing and developing training curriculum with multiple delivery methods, including instructor led, web based, audio and video is a plus
Ideal candidate would have 2 years of working knowledge of capital accumulation plans. defined benefits plans, investments, and knowledge of Group Benefits (Group Insurance)
Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) will be required - may be done after hiring
