Here are the services covered with Roadside Assistance:
If your car's battery is showing signs of weakness, our roadside assistance coverage provides a battery recharge so you can get back on the road as quickly as possible.
Get roadside assistance if you no longer have access to your keys! If you lock your keys in your car, we will attempt to unlock the doors. If your keys are lost or broken or if we’re unable to unlock the vehicle, we will reimburse up to $100 for a locksmith. If the vehicle cannot be started, towing will be provided according to the terms of the program.
Flat tire change
In the event of a flat tire, our roadside assistance team will install your vehicle’s spare tire. If there’s no spare tire or it’s not in good condition, towing will be provided according to the terms of the program.
We will winch vehicles that are stuck, provided they’re accessible by public roads. If special equipment or more than one person or truck is required, additional fees may be charged.
If you run out of gas, our roadside assistance will deliver 10 litres of gas free of charge to get you to the nearest gas station.
Towing if your vehicle breaks down
If your vehicle breaks down, we will tow it to any service station within a 25-km radius or to the nearest service station if there isn’t one within 25 km.
If your vehicle breaks down while towing an open trailer of less than 16 ft. in length for personal use, a trailer designed for transporting small goods or a tent-trailer of less than 16 ft. in length, the trailer or tent-trailer will also be towed, but additional fees may be charged for your trailer if it’s loaded.
