Description

The Senior Journey Experience Designer is responsible for driving the experience design for a portfolio of Advisor, Client and Employee journeys, identify opportunities, explore concepts and co-create expectational experiences. The Senior Journey Experience Designer will work closely with Journey Owners and various stakeholders to reimagine journeys, develop and implement an industry-changing digital strategy for iA Private Wealth that will enable the firm to deliver an unmatched, seamless digital experience and find new ways to serve clients, integrate digital touchpoints and channels to improve operational efficiencies.

Key Accountabilities include:

User Experience Design

  • Design end-to-end, integrated omni-channel experiences between our clients, advisors and employees based on a deep understanding of user behaviours, business strategy and operating models.
  • Partner with Journey Owners and other stakeholders to set priorities and find balanced design solutions that provides the best user experience and business goals within technical constraints
  • Work with Journey owners on prototyping, testing and iteration and ensuring all stakeholders are engaged throughout.
  • Actively conducts market intelligence to understand competing offers, trends in the marketplace and emerging investment solutions and related technologies delivering business value
  • Lead journey design activities including prioritization of design work, design thinking and ideation.
  • Support the creation and management of design systems and style-guide
  • Craft UX artifacts (experience maps, flows, mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes) to guide development and research
  • Consistently champion usability and accessibility

Journey Research & Design

  • Defining target advisor, client and operational journey and experiences and ensuring they are evergreen on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure delivery addresses applicable legal, compliance regulatory and internal policy requirements
  • Responsible for multipronged research practice, combining qualitative research data and journey metrics, identifying opportunities for design and orchestration and monitoring and measuring performance.  Examples include research, creation of a journey map, establishing journey-analytics capabilities, conducting customer-listening or voice-of-customer research and analysis and reporting of data and insight

Agile Delivery & Execution

  • Assist the Journey owners in the creation of Prioritized Program Epic Backlog
  • Help define product requirements and understand user design to assist workflows and product teams in iterating through product discovery.
  • Participates in PI Planning, Iteration Reviews and System Demo
  • Proactively manage key risks and dependencies, resolve or escalate issues to ensure successful implementation

Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in service design, CX strategy, digital strategy and delivery experience
  • Strong understanding of the Wealth Management industry trends and regulatory environment
  • Proven experience in design thinking and ideation supporting end to end journeys
  • Proficiency in creating UX artifacts, design systems and style-guide
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrates conceptual and innovative thinking when formulating solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with working in both a technical and business context is an asset; able to translate business concepts into easy-to-understand technical language
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
