We’re looking for a Digital Tools Advisor in Group Insurance Administration. As a Digital Tools Advisor, you will advise and assist our clients and external advisors with the implementation of digital tools available to group insurance clients (online enrolment tools, online life events, online beneficiary designation, etc.).
In this role, you will:
- Assume responsibility for end-to-end tool implementations, collaborating proactively and effectively with our external and internal partners
- Meet with clients during the implementation of digital tools to assess their needs throughout the implementation process
- Customize action plans and implementation schedules for each client and determine required tasks taking into account all administrative and technological aspects
- Document each group using digital tools, ensure distribution to the various internal and external clients and ensure updates when modifications are made
- Be proactive in the coordination of projects, take initiative when hurdles arise during implementation and take necessary steps to correct critical situations that could hinder the smooth execution of implementations
- Identify quality issues and opportunities for improvement in the digital tool implementation process
- Act as an expert consultant in diagnosing anomalies and solving problems as well as in continuous improvement
- Ensure that tasks and procedures are performed by team resources according to company requirements (quality and time) and participate in the development of quality control applications
- Analyze and follow up on special or complex cases
- May be called on to perform computer queries and tests as an expert user
- May be called on to participate in finalist meetings
- As needed, provide support to the team in daily work production
You will support the department as a whole by promoting team spirit and maintaining good working relationships with all employees in the department and other sectors. You may also be called on to take part in special projects (e.g., A3s, Kaizens, missions, etc.) and to travel as needed.
Desired profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration / human resources management / project management or any other relevant training/experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of group insurance principles and of the different insurance plan structures that exist in the market (asset)
- Adept in problem solving and project management, and with computer systems such as the Office suite
- Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to regular interaction with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada
