Senior Corporate Marketing Manager

To be successful, you are a seasoned marketing professional with over 10 years experience within financial services and have a solid understanding of the following corporate marketing activities: branding, social media, public relations, sponsorships, and advertising. As a senior manager, you have led large-scale campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels; you enjoy collaborating with others and have the professional demeaner to manage stakeholders at all levels of seniority; you possess exceptional communication skills, verbal and written,  and are persuasive in presenting your ideas – both strategy and execution. The best candidate for this role enjoys a fast-paced environment, is detail oriented, and can easily managing multiple deliverables at a given time.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that oversees all aspects of marketing for multiple lines of business (iA Private Wealth, Investia, iA Clarington Investments and iA Capital Markets): influencing business and sales strategy, managing both integrated and distinct corporate marketing programs for the various businesses, delivering digital and social media programs and supporting a network of diverse audiences. In addition, you will,

  • Oversee the planning, and ongoing management of iA Wealth’s corporate social media strategy, ensuring all social activity supports business goals and brand objectives

  • Lead the implementation of iA Wealth’s public relations strategy and tactics (paid, earned, owned) across all lines of business, driving brand awareness and engagement among various B2B and B2C audiences

  • Support manager with advertising and brand-building stewardship and activities

  • In collaboration with internal stakeholders, oversee all aspects related to corporate sponsorship programs, effectively managing strategy and execution and relationships with sponsorship organizations  

  • Build and manage close relationships with large cross-functional teams, and key business partners (including creative and media agencies)

  • Oversee marketing communications campaigns, including concept for and briefing of campaigns, providing strategic vision, writing of communications materials, managing the creative process and agency partners to bring the best marketing strategies to life

  • Manage day-to-day requirements and resources to deliver campaigns and initiatives, including planning, content development, stakeholder communications, risk reviews/approvals, market launch and measurement

  • Keep up to date with marketing trends, analytics and reporting  

Do you have the skills to succeed in this role?

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing

  • 10 years relevant experience within financial services

  • Superior understanding of wealth management, industry trends and best practices  

  • Strategic thinker with advanced knowledge of corporate marketing functions – branding, PR, social media, sponsorships and advertising

  • Seasoned marketing professional with experience managing public-facing programs in tandem with professional agencies

  • Expertise in multi-tiered project management, including analytical, measurement and reporting capabilities

  • Excellent writing and communications skills with in-depth knowledge of the creative process

  • Dynamic decision-maker and team player with experience interacting with all levels of an organization

  • Dexterous influencer with proven ability to successfully work with agency partners and vendors to determine strategy and creative approach

  • Highly organized, self-motivated and adept at managing change and priorities
