At iA Financial Group, you could be part of a team that truly values your expertise. As a trainer, you will be a key player on our team, training new employees and providing professional development to the team in order to comply with best practices in terms of sound disability file management.

More specifically, you will implement the training program and procedure manuals to inform your co-workers of legislative and market changes and to ensure uniformity in the management of group insurance files.

In concert with the sector’s director, managers and mentors, you will help to improve standard procedures and letters, and workflow processes that meet the needs of the department or of internal or external clients.

Excellent command of remote communication (Teams, Zoom) is highly recommended.


  • College-level diploma (DCS) or bachelor’s degree

  • At least five (5) years of experience in short-term and long-term disability benefits management

  • Excellent command of remote communication (Teams, Zoom) is highly recommended.

  • Excellent ability to transmit training content (pedagogy and psychology)

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to draft clear and concise procedures

  • Ability to work as part of a team and establish excellent relationships with others

  • In-depth knowledge of the disability sector (TIDE and TANGO)

  • Autonomy

  • Sense of initiative

  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite

  • LOMA, HIAA and ICA (asset)
