Group Insurance Customer Service: extending opening hours in Western Canada

Consistent with our goal of continuously enhancing service to you, and to offer you more flexibility, the Group Insurance Customer Service will soon extend its opening hours in Western Canada.

As of June 14, 2021, closing time will be pushed back for our clients in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This change will have no impact for clients in Eastern Canada and the Atlantic.

In short, from June 14, 2021, Customer Service opening hours will be the following across the Canada time zones:

• Pacific:  5:00 am to 6:30 pm
• Mountain:  6:00 am to 7:30 pm
• Central:  7:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Eastern:  8:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Atlantic:  9:00 am to 9:00 pm

The extension of our opening hours is great news, especially for group insurance plan members in Western Canada, who will now be able to call us at a time that is more convenient for many, i.e., at the end of the day.
