An association of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists not ineligible in Quebec

At iA Financial Group, we regularly audit healthcare providers and associations to make sure that they meet our standards in terms of professional conduct and practice.

Following a re-evaluation, we would like to inform you that we no longer recognize the following association:

• Alliance of Professional Naturopaths and Naturotherapists (APNN)

As a result, the fees incurred with members of this association will no longer be eligible for reimbursement. Plan members may continue to consult with these natural health practitioners, but they will not be able to claim the fees paid.

Grace period for a smooth transition
To ensure a smooth transition, iA Financial Group will reimburse naturopathy fees incurred with providers who are member of this association until May 31, 2023. Claims for charges incurred on or after June 1, 2023, will be denied.

Online service to verify provider eligibility
Plan members are encouraged to verify the eligibility of their health care providers by using the Provider search tool in My Client Space or iA Mobile.

We invite you to forward this communication to plan members to inform them of this change. Note that an article will be published in the News section of My Client Space.
