Travelling abroad: caution is advised

With the increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 due to the Omicron variant in several countries in recent weeks, it remains risky to travel abroad.

In fact, until further notice, the Canadian government has tightened measures for travellers and strongly recommends avoiding non-essential travel.

Because your health is important to us, we encourage you to respect these measures and, if possible, avoid non-essential travel.

However, certain situations that may require you to travel abroad. We invite you to consult our FAQs to learn more about expenses eligible for reimbursement and coverage for emergency medical expenses outside the country (under the terms of your policy). Please note that some of the coverages mentioned in the FAQ are not offered in all policies and you may not have all of these coverages.

It is also very important to be aware of the health situation at destination, as many countries have additional measures in place for foreign travelers.
