iA Financial Group announces the appointment of Lilia Sham to the position of Executive Vice-President, Corporate Development, effective May 2, 2019. Ms. Sham also becomes a member of the company’s Planning Committee, chaired by Denis Ricard, President and Chief Executive Officer.
In previous roles, Lilia was senior vice-president of corporate development at Intact Financial Corporation for thirteen years and held management positions with other financial organizations in both Canada and the U.S. She has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions in North America, Latin America and Asia. She holds a master’s degree in science from Rutgers University, in New Jersey, and is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA).
Lilia and her team will report to Denis Ricard, President and Chief Executive Officer.
