Description
Build the future with us
Are you passionate about technology transformation and looking to help shape how data is managed, integrated, and consumed? As a Data Solution Architecture Advisor, you will play a key role in defining and safeguarding a cohesive, integrated, and sustainable data architecture vision.
Within the Individual Insurance business line, you will contribute to the Client System Exit initiative, a major transformation aimed at gradually reducing reliance on the Client System and implementing cross-functional, reusable data capabilities. You will work in an environment where multiple ecosystems need to be aligned, including MDM / Golden Record, Salesforce, and modern data platforms.
This position is a great opportunity to showcase your data architecture expertise and cross-functional leadership while making a tangible impact on large-scale transformation initiatives. Here, people and their development are at the heart of our priorities, creating an environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Data Solution Architecture Advisor, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are your main responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end data architecture vision, translate requirements into solutions, and ensure that deliverables remain aligned with the design and enterprise directions.
- Ensure alignment across solutions, data platforms, and various ecosystems, promoting integrated, cross-functional, and reusable capabilities rather than replicating existing systems.
- Provide leadership in architecture governance, including proposing, reviewing, and approving architecture decisions, maintaining their traceability, and certifying technical documentation.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of solutions from design through delivery, taking into account functional, technological, organizational, security, performance, and availability considerations.
- Provide multidisciplinary leadership to architects, designers, analysts, developers, data teams, delivery teams, business partners, and external vendors.
- Contribute to the success of initiatives by facilitating the management of timelines, scope, and budget, while identifying integration issues and proposing pragmatic solutions.
- Ensure compliance with the organization’s architecture processes, standards, tools, and methodologies, and contribute to their evolution in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture.
- Act as the application owner within the enterprise repository to maintain accurate information about the applications and technologies under your responsibility.
- Stay current on data architecture and technology trends while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and guidelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support outside regular business hours as required. Compensation is provided in accordance with the on-call support policy.
What could accelerate your success in this role
We are looking for someone who:
- Is recognized for their leadership in data architecture and their ability to engage multidisciplinary teams made up of internal and external resources.
- Stands out for their communication, ability to explain complex concepts, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, as well as their ability to move complex initiatives forward.
- Demonstrates extensive expertise in data architectures and technologies, including Snowflake, Databricks, Azure SQL, ADF, SQL, Python, APIs, data modelling, as well as data governance and data quality.
- Is recognized for their ability to navigate ambiguity, uncertainty, and change, as well as their knowledge of frameworks and practices such as TOGAF, Zachman, SDLC, DevOps, Agile, MVP, LEAN, and ITIL.
- Has 12 years of experience in information technology, including at least 7 years as an architecture professional, working on a variety of large-scale projects and within large organizations.
- Has an advanced level of proficiency in both French and English, as the successful candidate will be required to collaborate daily, both verbally and in writing, with partners and colleagues who speak English only.
