Would you like to contribute to data protection within a large organization and help advance strategic security solutions?

Join our Data Protection team as a Solution Architect. You will play a key role in defining and evolving solutions designed to protect iA’s sensitive information throughout its lifecycle.

Your primary mandate will be to define and evolve the architecture of data protection capabilities, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), as well as the integration of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) capabilities into the data protection ecosystem to support the discovery, classification, risk assessment and protection of sensitive data. You will work closely with security, architecture, product and delivery teams to translate business, security, risk and compliance requirements into solutions that are consistent, sustainable and adapted to iA’s ecosystem.

Responsibilities

As a Solution Architect, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Define and evolve solution architectures related to data protection and contribute to establishing the target-state vision.
• Translate business, security, risk, compliance and regulatory requirements into concrete and achievable architecture solutions.
• Design architectures that address data protection throughout the entire data lifecycle.
• Produce and maintain key architecture deliverables, including architecture documentation, diagrams, impact assessments and recommendations.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture directions, security frameworks and iA standards.
• Participate in architecture governance forums and reviews, and present recommendations as required.
• Identify risks, impacts, dependencies and integration challenges, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with security specialists, designers, delivery teams, product owners and other architects to ensure integrated and consistent solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor, influence decisions and provide clear architectural guidance to various stakeholders.
• Contribute to the standardization and reuse of data protection capabilities, models and reference architectures.
• Contribute to the roadmap and long-term evolution of data protection capabilities.
• Adopt a T-shaped approach by combining deep expertise in solution architecture and data protection with the ability to collaborate effectively across related areas such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, infrastructure, applications, data and delivery.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We are looking for someone who:

• Has significant experience as a Solution Architect, ideally within a large or complex organization.
• Has experience in cybersecurity or information security, with a strong understanding of data protection challenges.
• Has experience designing data protection controls across Microsoft 365, cloud environments, SaaS applications and data platforms.
• Demonstrates the ability to design solution architectures and produce structured deliverables such as diagrams, architecture documentation and impact assessments.
• Has experience working in an environment with formal architecture governance and review processes.
• Can translate complex issues into clear, pragmatic and achievable directions and solutions.
• Has a strong understanding of information technology, security, cloud environments and data protection principles.
• Can assess impacts, risks, dependencies and integrations across different solutions and platforms.
• Has excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrates autonomy, curiosity and the ability to take ownership of complex issues and move discussions toward decisions.
• Is proficient in both French and English to collaborate with teams and partners in both languages.
