What you will accomplish with us

As a Transaction Technician, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Applying client premium payments to their respective insurance policies
• Processing changes to client records, including beneficiary updates, payment method changes, and other administrative modifications within the Workflow system
• Managing and following up on bank payment rejections
• Processing transactions related to premium billing
• Regularizing policies to ensure they remain in force
• Participating in various day-to-day administrative activities based on the team's needs

We are looking for someone who:

• Is recognized for excellent organizational and planning skills
• Demonstrates strong analytical abilities and rigor in task execution
• Has a proven ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment
• Can maintain accuracy and efficiency while working in a high-volume transaction-processing environment
• Has a strong customer-focused mindset and understands the importance of contributing, through administrative excellence, to a simple, efficient, and positive experience for clients and advisors
• Is known for attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Holds a general college diploma (DEC) or equivalent
• Has 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry or a related field
• Has experience in insurance administration or within a Managing General Agency (MGA), considered a strong asset
• Has knowledge of life insurance, considered an asset
• Is proficient with the technology and computer tools required to perform the role

The typical salary range for this position is between $47,544 and $78,090 CAD per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity considerations. At iA, we are committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-aligned compensation. Market data is reviewed annually to reflect current employment conditions.
