Is this you?  A reinsurance leader who enjoys process improvements, and the day-to-day activities in the administration of reinsurer positions. 

Your impact

  • Lead our Reinsurance Reporting Team.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and the VP of Reinsurance. Build relationships across the company including Claims, Underwriting, New Business, IT, and Reinsurance Formations. Focus on streamlining our reinsurance procedures.
  • Complete reinsurance cession statements including managing reconciliation, improving accuracy or timeliness, collaborating with IT to ensure accuracy of data mapping, and following up on any unusual items such as increases in premiums, claims, earnings, etc.
  • Ensure business processes mitigate errors.
  • Day to day: research auto dealer problems as reflected in the reinsurance cession statements, review reinsurance distributions (surplus, FIP, profit share) compliance with agreements, and liaise between dealers/agents and our underwriting teams or banks. 
  • Develop a process to manage the implementation of changes to reinsurance positions including split changes, products, and dealerships across multiple systems. In addition, create a process for monthly status reporting on cession distribution, releases of excess collateral, profit sharing, and carrier reporting.

We're looking for people who: have a bachelor's degree; a master's is desirable. 5-10 yrs of client services or reinsurance experience with 3-5 yrs in people and project management experience. Insurance or service contract industry experience is a nice to have. Experience presenting during sales presentations is a plus.
