iA Financial Group is constantly developing digital tools for its Group clientele to create an engaging and positive online experience for plan members and administrators. 

To achieve this, the Group Benefit and Retirement Solutions division is looking for a Digital Product Manager.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the other Product Managers to develop a product strategy, vision and roadmap (release strategy) for the total benefit platform, in line with business objectives.
  • Perform customer research and get client’s feedback to gain a deep understanding of customer’s needs and goals.
  • Keep abreast of group benefits market trends through readings, webinars, conferences, meetings with providers, and be proactive in proposing product improvements or innovations that meet customer needs and expectations and are in sync with the business line’s strategic orientation.
  • Work with key stakeholders (business units, transformation office, distribution teams, Agile delivery teams, etc.) to make prioritization decisions based on value.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders the product roadmap and the value created by product features.  To this end, work closely with marketing, sales, and communication teams.
  • Contribute to the product go-to-market strategy by ensuring the operational teams are well prepared to manage and support it.
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance to product owners (PO) to define, prioritize and develop required features.
  • Put innovation at the heart of the product development process.

Your career path looks like this:

  • University degree (Digital marketing, business, or actuarial science) with 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Agile digital product development
  • Knowledge of Group benefits and retirement products & processes
  • Leadership, teamwork, positive attitude, creativity and strategic thinking
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Autonomy and organization skills
  • Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French speaking clients across Canada.
