The Marketing Associate will assist and support the Living Benefits Sales Director in promoting iA Living Benefit products and services to Independent Financial Advisors through the Brokerage Network. Help build and maintain effective business relationships with insurance advisors and administration staff through MGA Advisor network.
SALES DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES:
Assist the LB Sales Director to solicit new business and establish contact with advisors.
Arranging training needs for agents in consultation with their MGA's and AGA's.
Conduct training with advisors with a focus on illustration software, application process (EVO) as well as (Assure & Go), IA administrative processes, including a clear understanding of our contracting, commissions, as well as navigating our Extranet and Business Tracker.
Manage iA’s Sales Tracker – to track new business daily.
Maintain regular contact with top, past, and future Advisors.
Creating and revising presentations as required using Power Point software.
Responding to inquiries through telephone, email, written correspondence, virtually or in person, in a timely and professional manner.
Attendance at planned conferences, road shows, presentations, and organized events which may periodically occur during evening and weekend hours.
Minimum 4 years experience in the insurance industry/ brokerage environment.
High School and College Diploma.
LOMA designations, LLQP, CLU, CHS or other industry related qualifications would be an asset.
Exceptional ability to teach, coach, and motivate.
Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of people.
Superior organization and planning skills with a strong ability to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Detail oriented and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
