We are currently looking for a dynamic New Business Administrator, Bilingual French who will be responsible for all aspects of new business administration.

This is a great opportunity for a student or new graduate to gain valuable work experience. Please note that we are looking for a candidate who will be available full time (Monday to Friday during standard work hours). This role may also require the the candidate work part of the week in our office and the rest at home.

This temporary contract will end on December 31, 2021 with a possibility for an extension. This role can be based anywhere in Canada.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Daily sorting and distribution of the incoming mail and daily output.

  • Validating, checking for errors and uploading of electronic contracts.

  • Receiving, checking for completion as well as the processing of settling documents and policy change requests.

  • Assembling of paper policy contracts.

Creating client records:

  • Create the client file from all paper applications.

  • Ensure that the information in signature forms are complete and correct.

  • The identification of the client, coverage and beneficiary

  • PAC authorization and banking info

  • Investment allocation for some products

  • The medical and non-medical declaration of insurability for the underwriting system to analyse which could also lead to a direct issue of policy (and assumption of the risk by iA up to $200 000 )

Perform quality control to ensure no adverse financial impact for the Company:

  • Ensuring that first and subsequent Bank withdrawals are exact

  • Validating the “signature forms” for all applications submitted electronically by brokers or agency staff

  • Validate applications entered by IA staff and/or Agency staff

  • Print the appropriate document classification to be imaged

  • Complete system corrections to newly issued contracts.


  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

  • Bilingual English and French (Verbal and Written)

  • Reliable and punctual with good communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

  • Accuracy in data entry, good concentration and attention to detail

  • Must be able to function as part of a team and respect others

  • Willingness to learn and comfortable in a changing environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook)

  • Motivated, enthusiastic and innovative
