Working closely with Journey Owners, Process Engineers, Product Owners, and business and technology stakeholders, you will assess existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver changes that advance operational excellence. You will also help integrate digital and artificial intelligence touchpoints to create seamless, customer-centric experiences.
This is an opportunity to lead complex transformations, influence senior stakeholders, and shape the future of wealth management within a caring and trustworthy company where collaboration, innovation, and professional development are valued.
What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Senior Process Journey Owner, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Establish the process journey vision, strategy, and integration model across advisors and head office teams to achieve target business outcomes and deliver best-in-class digital experiences.
- Translate business goals into strategic opportunities and develop an MVP-centred roadmap with short-, medium-, and long-term objectives in collaboration with Product Owners and key stakeholders.
- Develop business cases, define and measure objectives and key results, and manage journey metrics, revenues, costs, total cost of ownership, performance, and return on investment.
- Represent the voice of clients and advisors by leading qualitative and quantitative research, journey mapping, customer-listening initiatives, journey analytics, market intelligence, and performance measurement.
- Lead journey and process design activities, including design thinking, ideation, prototyping, testing, iteration, process optimization, documentation, and the ongoing evolution of target experiences.
- Lead multiple large, complex, and multi-year business transformation initiatives, defining and prioritizing EPICs and Features, coordinating cross-functional delivery, and representing the business throughout development and user acceptance testing.
- Orchestrate end-to-end delivery through Program Increment Planning, iteration reviews, system demonstrations, risk management, governance reporting, and compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
- Build and manage relationships with executives, advisors, internal teams, technology companies, service providers, and third-party partners while leading stakeholder communications, change management, adoption, training, and organizational readiness.
What could accelerate your success in this role
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least 10 years of relevant experience in digital strategy, journey ownership, process improvement, and the delivery of complex business transformation initiatives.
- Holds a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA and professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, Certified Process Professional, or Certified Business Process Professional are considered assets.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of wealth management industry trends, investment solutions, emerging technologies, and the regulatory environment.
- Has experience working in Agile environments, participating in Agile ceremonies, managing EPICs and Features, tracking team-level metrics, removing blockers, and coordinating business and technology capabilities.
- Brings P&L and financial management experience, with a demonstrated ability to build business cases and drive profitable adoption, growth, operational performance, and return on investment.
- Excels at strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, change management, problem-solving, and managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicates complex ideas clearly and persuasively, builds productive relationships at all organizational levels, and effectively influences senior executives, vendors, consultants, and cross-functional partners.
- Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the role involves leading meetings, presenting recommendations, preparing documentation, and collaborating with English-speaking colleagues and internal partners across Canada on a frequent basis.
- Excellent French communication skills, both oral and written, are also an asset.
