What you will accomplish with us
As a Business Analyst, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Understanding, analyzing, and documenting business needs while supporting stakeholders in clarifying their challenges through data-driven analysis
- Translating business needs into clear functional requirements and designing viable, business-aligned solutions
- Identifying, mapping, and optimizing business processes to improve efficiency and simplicity
- Acting as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure clear communication and shared understanding
- Participating in test strategies (functional, integration, and user acceptance testing) and coordinating execution with users
- Analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and root causes
- Providing pragmatic recommendations to support decision-making and improve practices
- Actively participating in Agile team activities (PI Planning, ceremonies, Definition of Done, etc.)

We are looking for someone who:
- Is recognized for strong analytical thinking, rigor, and synthesis skills
- Stands out for their ability to simplify complex concepts and influence stakeholders
- Demonstrates autonomy, curiosity, and proactivity in gathering information
- Is known for strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
- Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or an equivalent field
- Holds a relevant degree in IT, business administration, or a related field
- Is comfortable working in Agile/Lean environments
- Has knowledge of BPMN (strong asset)
- Has experience in the insurance or financial services industry, particularly group insurance (asset)
- Is comfortable navigating complex environments and managing ambiguity
- Shows initiative and quickly builds a strong internal network
- Advanced English level is required, as the role involves regular collaboration with English-speaking consultants and participation in meetings with stakeholders, including a VP and project sponsor based in Toronto
- Fluency in French is required, as the role also involves working closely with French-speaking stakeholders, documenting requirements, and communicating effectively in a bilingual environment
