Senior Marketing Manager, Market Planning & Content Strategist

As Senior Marketing Manager, Content Planning & Implementation, you will lead how, when, and where our brand engages the market across digital, web, and event channels. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing integrated content strategies that drive awareness, demand generation, and pipeline growth – while reinforcing the iA Private Wealth brand narrative.

This role requires a seasoned marketing leader with a strong grasp of content strategy, channel optimization, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Business, and Sales teams to deliver compelling, results-driven content that resonates with advisors and clients alike.

To thrive in this role, you bring a strategic mindset, hands-on execution capabilities, and a deep understanding of content planning across digital ecosystems. You are a confident communicator, skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and aligning cross-functional teams around shared goals. You excel in fast-paced environments, are detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Champion business and brand objectives while enhancing advisor and client experiences across all web and digital platforms.

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive, end-to-end business strategies for digital content distribution, overseeing all web assets – including four public websites, and one advisor-centric intranet.

  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic priorities, and guide decision-making.   

Content Strategy & Optimization

  • Design high-level content strategies and messaging frameworks that reflect brand voice and support business goals.

  • Oversee content planning, calendars and production, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and alignment across digital channels.

  • Manage the creation and optimization of web copy and digital assets to enhance SEO performance and engagement across paid and owned media.

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align content initiatives with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Introduce innovative solutions, including AI-driven tools, to elevate content quality, reinforce brand positioning, and streamline production workflows.

  • Co-ordinate with iA Financial Group GCX teams to integrate content effectively, and support growth initiatives.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams at iA Private Wealth to ensure timely, and impactful content delivery.

Cross-Functional Leadership  

  • Collaborate with iA Financial Group GCX teams to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, design standards, and client enablement efforts.

  • Work closely with iA Financial Group GCX technology to manage change initiatives, with a focus on maintaining accuracy, and timeliness across iA Private Wealth web platforms.     

Performance & Governance  

  • Monitor and evaluate content performance to uncover trends, make data-driven decisions, and inform strategic enhancements.  

  • Analyze advisor and client engagement to guide content planning, and optimization efforts.

  • Conduct regular audits and implement governance frameworks to uphold content quality, relevance, and regulatory compliance.

  • Foster cross-functional alignment by maintaining content visibility across Marketing, Business, and Sales teams.

  • Present actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, facilitating alignment, and informed decision-making.

  • Develop executive dashboards and performance reports to track key metrics, support strategic planning, and refine content based on data and stakeholder feedback. 

Skills & Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications Business, or a related field

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing or communications within financial services

  • Deep understanding of wealth management, with a focus on content marketing trends and best practices

  • Proven success managing content across digital, web, social, and event channels  

  • Strategic mindset combined with strong execution skills, with the ability to transition from planning to build-launch-optimize implementation

  • Exceptional writing and communications skills with solid grasp of the creative development process

  • Strong multi-tiered project management capabilities, including analytics, measurement and reporting

  • Dynamic decision-maker and team player with experience interacting with all levels of an organization

  • Dexterous influencer with proven ability to successfully manage agency and vendor relationships to deliver valued strategic and creative outcomes  

  • Highly organized, self-motivated and adept at managing change and priorities
