What you’ll accomplish with us
- As a Disability Case Manager, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Assess short- and long-term disability claims to determine eligibility for benefits based on medical documentation and policy guidelines
- Conduct detailed telephone interviews to gather medical and non-medical information
- Develop and implement personalized case management plans
- Collaborate with rehabilitation teams and attending physicians to facilitate return-to-work plans
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, participants, healthcare professionals, and government agencies
- Handle sensitive and potentially difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files in our system
- Participate in client and supplier meetings and contribute to special projects

- Has 2 to 5 years of experience in disability claims, health professions, human resources, or a related field
- Has knowledge of occupational health and safety and medical terminology
