What You Will Accomplish With Us

As an Actuarial Science and Data Science Intern, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Analyze and interpret data to address key business challenges such as customer segmentation and claims trends;

• Contribute to the development of dashboards and user-friendly tools to support strategic decision-making;

• Deliver analyses aligned with the department’s business objectives and present findings in a clear and accessible manner to management;

• Contribute to the development and implementation of predictive models for risk modeling, trend forecasting, and customer behavior analysis;

• Work with machine learning algorithms and statistical methods to extract meaningful insights from data;

• Explore and process large datasets to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation;

• Collaborate closely with mentors, subject matter experts, and other team members to gain an understanding of group insurance challenges and analytical processes;

• Learn about the deployment and productionization of analytical models with the support of internal teams.

What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

• Is currently pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related field;

• Is recognized for their analytical skills and ability to solve business problems;

• Stands out for their team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues;

• Demonstrates a strong interest in programming (Python is considered an asset);

• Is recognized for their curiosity, learning agility, and ability to deliver results efficiently.

Intermediate English proficiency is required, as the successful candidate will be expected to consult and use English-language documentation with team members as part of their daily responsibilities.

Advance French proficiency.
