What You’ll Accomplish with Us

As a Salesforce Release Manager, you will be at the center of our mission. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, coordinating, and executing Salesforce releases (major, minor, and hotfixes) while ensuring a stable, controlled, and secure deployment process.
  • Managing Salesforce environments (sandboxes, integration, and production), deployments, version control, and change traceability.
  • Collaborating closely with development teams, quality assurance specialists, business analysts, product owners, and architects to align deliveries with business priorities.
  • Identifying deployment risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring the quality and compliance of releases.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, release governance, and delivery processes while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for their ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and effectively manage deliveries in a complex technology environment.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, rigor, and a structured approach to risk and quality management.
  • Has an excellent ability to simplify technical concepts and communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
  • Is known for their collaborative mindset, initiative, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Has several years of experience in release management, DevOps, or a similar role within a Salesforce environment.

Required Qualifications and Knowledge

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including metadata, Apex, standard objects, Salesforce APIs, and Platform Events.
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or equivalent solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Git, version control, and CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with multi-org Salesforce environments and Governor Limits.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based environments.
  • Experience with Visual Studio Code, Salesforce CLI (sf-cli), and Git Flow principles.
  • Knowledge of architecture models, design patterns, and UML modeling.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka is considered an asset).
  • Interest in Salesforce integrations, including Einstein Activity Capture, Content Server, and MuleSoft.
  • Experience using artificial intelligence tools, including Copilot, is considered an asset.
