Description

Build the future with us

Are you passionate about strategic growth and mergers and acquisitions, and do you want to contribute to the mission of a company that aims to ensure its clients feel confident and secure about their future? As a Senior Advisor, Benefits and Retirement, you will play a key role in analyzing, recommending, and harmonizing benefits and retirement programs during corporate transactions and HR integrations.

You’ll be part of the Talent and Culture Vice Presidency—Total Compensation, Technology, and HR Integrations—specifically within the Mergers, Acquisitions, and HR Integrations team, whose activities are central to iA Financial Group’s growth strategy.

This position offers a great opportunity to showcase your skills and fully realize your potential within a supportive and reliable company. Here, people and their development are at the heart of everything we do, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth analyses of the targeted entities’ benefits and retirement programs, identify discrepancies with iA’s practices, and assess risks (compliance, costs, retention, equity, feasibility)

• Produce structured assessments and recommendations to support decision-making in the context of transactions

• Develop and compare scenarios for harmonizing programs, recommend appropriate approaches, and define action plans for the transition to the target state

• Assess the impacts of the scenarios on employees, managers, costs, and operations

• Provide specialized input for cost assessments and collaborate with the modeling team to ensure the accuracy of assumptions and analyses

• Contribute to the financial assessment of harmonization impacts and identify factors influencing transition costs and recurring costs

• Lead the planning and execution of integration activities related to the rollout of group insurance, retirement, and paid leave programs; support the transition for employees; and contribute to communications and the development of support tools

• Identify integration risks and propose mitigation measures, while contributing to post-integration reviews and the stabilization of operations

• Collaborate with Global Compensation and the centers of expertise, develop tools and templates for the HR FAI practice, and document lessons learned to foster continuous improvement

Job Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 5 years of relevant experience in employee benefits and retirement programs, ideally in contexts involving program transformation, harmonization, or integration.

• Demonstrates strong analytical skills and is able to transform complex data into clear findings, structured recommendations, and decision-support scenarios.

• Is proficient in advanced analytical tools, particularly Excel, and is comfortable with cost modeling and impact assessment.

• Is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively coordinating the work of various stakeholders in a matrix structure, without direct line authority.

• Demonstrates sound judgment, autonomy, and rigor in managing strategic projects involving a high degree of ambiguity and sensitivity.

Possesses excellent communication and analytical skills, enabling them to explain complex issues and influence decision-making.

• Holds a college degree in a relevant field (actuarial science, mathematics, finance, human resources, or a related field).

• Knowledge of Workday is a plus.

• Advanced proficiency in English, as the candidate will be required to analyze compensation programs, collaborate on mergers, acquisitions, and integrations, participate in discussions, and support integration activities with English-speaking partners—particularly in the United States—on a regular basis.
