What You Will Accomplish with Us

As a Compliance Student, you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

• Monitoring and managing the Service’s shared email inboxes and assigning requests to the appropriate internal resources.

• Opening files in accordance with established processes.

• Assisting and supporting compliance advisors and analysts in carrying out various monitoring processes related to the activities of manufacturers and intermediaries within distribution networks, including:

  • Processing customer complaints;

  • Verifying the qualifications and integrity of intermediaries;

  • Conducting investigations into intermediaries’ business practices;

  • Participating in oversight initiatives involving distributors and intermediaries;

  • Supporting training initiatives for intermediaries.

• Assisting and supporting technicians in managing access to information requests from regulators and external partners.

What Could Help Accelerate Your Success in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

• Is currently a student in Legal Techniques or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Law;

• Is recognized for their rigor, commitment, professionalism, and reliability;

• Demonstrates a strong desire to learn, a high level of autonomy, and resourcefulness;

• Has a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;

• Has an intermediate level of English, as the role involves daily written and verbal communication and collaboration with unilingual English-speaking colleagues;

• Has knowledge of the individual insurance industry and the distribution of financial products and services (an asset).
