What you will accomplish with us

As an IT Internal Audit Student, you will be at the center of our mission. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Conduct audit engagements as part of a team or independently;

  • Establish timelines with the audit team and Management and ensure compliance with those deadlines;

  • Perform analyses and tests related to IT governance and internal controls, ensuring audit work meets the team’s quality standards;

  • Prepare audit findings for communication to Management;

  • Draft reports presenting conclusions to the Audit Committee.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration (MIS, IT), Information Technology, or Cybersecurity;

  • Is recognized for strong data analysis skills, analytical thinking, the ability to see the big picture and explain complex concepts clearly, results orientation, rigor, and organizational skills;

  • Demonstrates autonomy, transparency, and a positive attitude toward change by challenging existing processes;

  • Has an intermediate level of English, as the role requires daily verbal and written communication with unilingual English-speaking partners across Canada and the United States;

  • Has at least 1 year of relevant experience in IT, audit, or analysis;

  • Holds (or is pursuing) an IT audit-related certification such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP (assets);

  • Has knowledge of ITGC and ITAC risks and controls, as well as key IT risk management frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO, etc.) (assets).
