Description

Internal Job Title: Senior Advisor, Talent Management

Constantly evolving, iA Financial Group aims to maximize the talent and skills of its employees. The core of the role we are seeking to fill is to contribute to the deployment of the talent strategy through cross-functional projects within the Talent, Culture, and Employee Experience sector—particularly those involving emerging and innovative practices in talent management. Our structured agile project governance will support your work and integration into this role. You’ll have the opportunity to work within a high-performing organization that prioritizes continuous learning as a strategic focus and fosters a culture that values employee development and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development, execution, and deployment of strategic projects, especially internal mobility initiatives and the implementation of strategic workforce planning.

  • Collaborate closely with project teams in developing feasibility studies: shaping the vision, roadmap, budget, etc., and executing prioritized projects with the support of a product owner and a project manager.

  • Propose solutions aligned with organizational needs and culture through regular collaboration with Learning & Development, Culture & Employee Experience, Talent & Culture Business Partners, HR Systems, HR Analytics, IT, and business sectors.

  • Deliver high-quality outputs within scope and deadlines.

  • Act as a product owner on certain projects depending on your profile and skills.

Desired Profile:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience, including significant involvement in large-scale projects. Experience in strategic workforce planning is a strong asset.

  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly.

  • Strong interest in emerging practices and a commitment to aligning with best practices.

  • Ability to work in ambiguity, adapt, and tackle complex challenges with skill.

  • Deep interest in talent management, particularly strategic workforce planning, and a willingness to develop the necessary expertise for the role.

  • Interest in contributing to system deliverables that are integral to our initiatives. Knowledge of Workday is a strong asset.

  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Advanced proficiency in English and in French, both spoken and written, as 20% of daily tasks are conducted in English. These include oral communication via videoconference to lead meetings and deliver presentations, as well as email correspondence with English-speaking partners and vendors.
