Description
We're looking for new talent as a Sales Activation & Retention Specialist who will be responsible for developing and deploying a communications strategy aimed at customers and advisors to maximize growth and retention opportunities for Group Insurance & Savings Solutions.
You will work cross-functionally and closely with the distribution, service, communications, marketing and product teams to develop and optimize sales enablement programs that enhance the effectiveness of our go-to-market efforts.
You will be responsible for defining, creating and deploying messaging and internal training for distribution and service teams to equip them to demonstrate the value of our products and services effectively.
Your main responsibilities will be :
Define sales activation and marketing strategies
In collaboration with the promotion and marketing teams, participate in the development and implementation of communication strategies and integrated marketing campaigns to support sales and retention initiatives aimed at promoting the sector's products and services with impact.
Ensure consistent messaging and communications across all channels.
Create and manage content to support distribution and service teams, including presentations, insights, key messages, guides, case studies and external training tools. All infused with the dirty challenger approach.
Develop, implement and optimize sales enablement programs to enable the distribution team to close deals and strategic campaigns effectively (e.g. account-based marketing strategies).
Gather and analyze feedback from distribution and service teams to refine programs and strategies.
Act as liaison between distribution, service, marketing and product teams to align strategies and initiatives to drive new sales and customer retention.
Training distribution and service teams
In collaboration with content experts, develop training materials, organize and facilitate sessions to ensure that distribution and service teams have the appropriate knowledge, insights and messages to effectively communicate our solutions and value propositions according to the sales challenger approach.
Collaborate with distribution and service team management to identify opportunities to improve knowledge, messages or sales tools, and create solutions to reinforce them.
Optimize internal communications and centralize information
Organize and regularly disseminate effective multi-channel internal communications (emails, Teams meetings, SharePoint, etc.) on key strategies and messages to promote new tools, products, content and platforms to distribution and service teams.
Consolidate all initiatives, from visibility plan to thought leadership strategy to insights development, into a coherent communications strategy for distribution and services teams.
Centralize and update documentation to reflect all upcoming activities (e.g. industry events, advisory boards, product launches, promotional toolkits, insights and other key messages) using SharePoint as the central platform for information management and dissemination, enabling real-time updating and easy access for all distribution and service team members.
Monitoring trends and best practices
Track market trends in sales enablement strategy to adopt innovative practices.
What we're looking for:
University degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field.
Minimum 8 years' experience in marketing, communications or sales, preferably in financial services.
Knowledge of group insurance and savings solutions an asset
Experience in sales enablement, sales operations or similar role.
Ability to transform complex information into clear insights for sales teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge of the English language, as the person will be required to communicate orally and in writing with unilingual English-speaking internal and external partners across Canada on a daily basis via e-mail, virtual meetings and the production of content in English only.
